This month’s Fine Arts Kit for adults makes watercolor paints from scratch! Using a combination of materials we provide and things from around your house, you can make up to 7 different watercolor paints! You'll be shown the basics of paint-making and some inspiration, but the final colors and textures are up to what you choose to use when you make your paints. Registration is required to receive the kit.

Kits are available for pickup starting June 8th from the Information Services Desk or via curbside pickup. Kits must be picked up by the last day of the month.

Please note that AHPL cardholders will be given priority for the first week of registration. AHPL cardholders MUST enter their library card number in the appropriate registration field in order to be eligible. Other registrants will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

The kit includes:

• 1 palette knife

• 20 ml watercolor binder

• 1 watercolor pan

You will need to provide:

• Powdered pigments (like eyeshadow, Kool-Aid packets, Cheeto dust, matcha tea, or any colored powder)
