This month’s Fine Arts Kit for adults makes 10 custom clay brooches. There are no step-by-step instructions for this kit, instead you'll be shown the basics of working with polymer clay and pin-making with polymer clay, then the exact details of each pin will be up to your creative imagination. Registration is required to receive the kit.

Kits are available for pickup starting May 8th from the Information Services Desk or via curbside pickup. Kits must be picked up by the last day of the month.

Please note that AHPL cardholders will be given priority for the first week of registration. AHPL cardholders MUST enter their library card number in the appropriate registration field in order to be eligible. Other registrants will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

The kit includes:

• 10 pin backs

• 2 oz. polymer clay

• 2 tbsp. varnish

You will need to provide:

• Plastic knife

• Super glue

• Paintbrush

• Parchment paper/tin foil
